AX put to the test!

To prove how committed Arenacross are to growing the sport in the U.K the team recently collaborated with the Moto 101 motocross facility to build a new, outdoor AX track.

The 2025 Tour will have an official ACU British Arenacross Title, which is open to British based riders only, and for the future growth of Arenacross in the U.K as well as around the rest of the globe the idea to build a new practice facility for riders in the U.K was a no brainer. So, committed as ever, Arenacross owner Matt Bates put a call into Ryan Wilson (owner of Moto 101) and in no time at all track builders Alfie Smith and Justin Barclay were called in to get to work on building the new track at the Lincolnshire based MX track.

Thinking ahead the team decided to build the track as a replica of what the riders will face for round one of the 2025 tour at the BP Pulse Arena, Birmingham on Saturday 4th January.

The day was an obvious success with a whole bunch of top level British championship motocross races expressing their interest to race the 2025 Arenacross Tour. Who will be lining up behind the start gates in the pro classes come the 4th January? Well, that will all be announced sometime in the up-coming months, so sit tight. In the meantime, here’s a little taster of the Arenacross Track test day and the good feel vibes from what was a very positive day for all. To watch just click here. Enjoy.

Most of the top British championship motocross riders were invited out to try the track and have their first go at riding an Arenacross track, along with a healthy amount of AX regulars including the current champ, Jack Brunell. After what looked like was going to be a wash out when the sky fell in the day before with an almost biblical hailstone storm, the track came good after a delayed start with it’s clay base drying out perfectly with plenty of grip.
