IPSWICH star Emil Sayfutdinov has confirmed his intention to step away from British Speedway next season.
The former World No.3 has spent the last three years with the Witches and his stint culminated in their memorable ROWE Motor Oil Premiership title win in the Grand Final against Leicester last month.
The 36-year-old has paid tribute to everyone at the Foxhall club and the British supporters for the welcome he has received.
Sayfutdinov said: “It’s hard to put into words how much these seasons have meant to me.
“From the first day, I was welcomed with open arms – by the riders, the management, and especially the amazing fans. You made me feel at home, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
“A biggest and warmest thanks going to all British fans. You guys are truly amazing. I feel so great at each place I have been, especially in Ipswich.”
