‘Rock’ solid fun in the sun

Round two of the EXGB ‘E-Bee All Stars’ electric dirt bike youth championship headed to the Jurassic coast on the final weekend of May and the picturesque Portland venue went down a storm with everyone who attended. The sun shined over the two days of racing with enough breeze coming in from the English channel to take the edge off the heat and a big blue moon added to the atmosphere, lighting up the night sky as many families camped out at the Grove Farm venue on a fun filled weekend on ‘the rock’ of Portland as it’s called by many.

All the kids expressed themselves out on track in their six races and once again there was some really close and entertaining racing, all the way from the 12 inch 3 years of age class up the faster kids in the E5 class. You could see the progression and confidence grow in all the kids as they raced through the weekend, which was great to see. As always at all EXGB events all the young racers received their goody bags before racing started and a medal at the podium presentation. The atmosphere over the whole weekend was fantastic with loads of kids having fun on and off the track, with plenty of encouragement from families and friends and more family memories made.

The next round of the ‘E-Bee All Stars’ electric dirt bike youth championship will head to another new venue for EXGB, Brakehill Farm, near Kettering on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th of July. We look forward to seeing many of you there for another cracking weekend of fun and racing to keep the kids active and for you all to make more family memories.
