SC Sporthomes Husqvarna announce 2025 roster of riders!

SC Sport Homes Husqvarna go full throttle into 2025! Tristan Purdon and Charlie Putnam will be tearing up MX1, with Charlie Heyman and Syd Putnam occupying the MX2 class in the Motul ACU British MX 2025 Championship. The refreshed team – managed by Neil Prince – will line up at the gate aboard our latest FC Motocross machines. Let’s go racing.

Tristan Purdon:

I’m really happy to share that I’ll be staying with SC for 2025. Being part of this team has been amazing – everyone treats us like family and that support means so much to me. A big thank you to Clinton and Neil for believing in me and keeping me on board. This year taught us a lot, and now we know exactly what to focus on heading into the next season. Last year, I was recovering from shoulder surgery during the off-season which made things tricky, especially getting back on the bike. But with the help of my trainer Kev and the team, I’m feeling strong and healthy again. Training has been going great, so when we head to the USA for pre-season, we can pick up where we left off instead of playing catch-up.

The plan for 2025 is similar to 2024, which I’m really excited about. It was a busy year, but I enjoyed every part of it and I’m ready for more. I just want to say a huge thanks to everyone on the team and all my private sponsors for their continued support. It means a lot, and I’m really grateful for everything you do to help me chase my goals. Here’s to another great season!

Charlie Heyman:

I am super happy to be with the SC Sport Homes Husqvarna team again for this coming season. I am looking forward to spending pre season in the USA with the team and to the season ahead.

Charlie Putnam:

Our plans were looking a little bit uncertain towards the end of this year, but I am really happy to be staying with Husqvarna as I am just coming off one of my best seasons to date. It would be good to carry that success through to 2025 and keep on building. The plans will be the same as ever, to take any race I get the opportunity to do. We will be travelling back out to America to take on the AMA Nationals again. We have a good structure out there now which helps the whole team and some good people behind us. There will be more focus on development this year which I am quite excited for and keen to get started with.

Syd Putnam:

I’m really looking forward to 2025, it’ll be my second year in the MX2 British Championshp and on the pro side of things and I can’t wait. All the guys at the team have been working harder than ever already this pre-season so it’s down to us boys to put in the work this pre-season (laughs). We’ll be off to America for a couple months in January to get to work on the bikes and I’ll be racing the Loretta Lynns area qualifier at Gatorback which will be good fun if we can make it to the big race. The MX2 British Championship will be my main goal next year consistently scoring a handful of points every race would keep a smile on our faces for sure.

Neil Prince (team manager):

I’m really looking forward to working again with Tristan Purdon, Charlie Heyman and the Putnam brothers. All the boys are putting in training to another level and if we can get them all stronger the results will improve. We’re very happy to continue with the Husqvarna brand for 2025.
