The Motul ACU British Motocross Championship is pleased to announce its provisional dates for the 2026 season.
The eight-round series will start in March and conclude in September, and will work alongside the provisional MXGP calendar. This will allow riders to compete in any selected MXGP / EMX rounds they wish.
Paul Irwin, Series Director, said: “As soon as the Grand Prix calendar comes out, we work hard to make sure we avoid any clashes and get our dates out as early as possible. This also helps clubs to set their motocross calendars for next year and ensure there are no overlaps with our British Championship plans.
“Of course, this is a provisional calendar and is subject to any changes that may be made to the MXGP calendar. If there are any adjustments, we’ll communicate that in due course.”
With provisional dates now identified, the ACU and MXGB teams are already busy behind the scenes making 2026 bigger and better. The positive response to the 2026 registrations opening early has pleased Irwin and his organising team.
“So far, the reaction has been superb,” he said. “I think the line-ups will be really strong for the early rounds in 2026 and the 125 class is looking incredibly healthy – it’s filling up very quickly!
“After all the fantastic work we’ve done in 2025, it’s great to see how keen people already are to be part of our 2026 season.”
