The organisers of NORAMX have released the below announcement for a 2027 Battle of the Nations, Youth International Quad & Sidecar Team Event.

We were going to keep this quiet a little longer. But, its nearly Christmas after all!

Many Many months ago, the Nora MX team came up with a plan… and its probably about time we let you all into the Secret!

At present, the Quad and Sidecarcross calendar is dominated by high level events catering primarily to adult riders, but what about youth riders? So, its about time we fixed that!

Our vision is to create an event where young competitors can experience the thrill of representing their countries, mirroring the opportunities currently offered to adult riders at major international events

Think of SQXON – but for Youth Riders!

With the help of the ACU, we have shared invitations to national governing bodies across the EU, with a view of encouraging widespread participation

For the Quads We aim to run a 50/100cc class and a 250cc class, Both classes with 3 riders and a Team Manager from each nation, competing as a team for the overall competition.

With Youth sidecars still in its infancy in some countries, we invite competitors from all countries to join, and points will be assigned per Driver/Passenger combination

Along side this – Adult Support classes !

To get this initiative off the ground for 2027, we need to get international teams onboard! We are already working closely with the ACU, but we need to get the event highlighted to our friends overseas! We are also keen to have a conversation with any companies or individuals that may be willing to support this initiative with event sponsorship

There is a huge task ahead of us to get this event off the ground, but, we are determined to make this happen, and raise the profile of Youth Quad and Sidecar Racing!

We are currently working on the finer details such as Regulations, classes etc, even prize money, so please, get Sharing, we need to highlight this far and wide, build the excitement, and get ready for an event that will be One of a Kind!
