The promoters & organisers of the NORA92 British Cup have announced their provisional calendar for the 2027 season and there are some changes!

First up we see the Championship move to five rounds for the 2027 season and adding a new venue to the roster of tracks, Warmingham Lane will host the penultimate round.

Earlier this week the organisers also announced there will be no auto class for the 2027 season. They made the following announcement on social media:

After careful consideration we can confirm the Auto class will not form part of the Nora92 British Cup Championship for 2027.

However, we want to reassure all of our Auto riders and families that this certainly isn’t the end of the road.

The Auto class has been an important part of British Cup series and we fully understand the role it plays in giving young riders their first taste of National racing; building confidence and creating memories with their families.

We haven’t forgotten about you, and we’re not leaving our youngest riders behind.

Nora is currently working behind the scenes on an alternative opportunity for Auto riders, with the aim of giving them something that is better suited to this stage of their racing journey.

We’re not quite ready to reveal the details yet, but conversations and plans are already underway.

The Auto class will not be replaced in 2027, the championship weekends will now consist of just 7 races per block.
