Valentin Guillod set to miss the Monster Energy MXGP of Flanders

Already at Lommel with team Ship to Cycle Honda Motoblouz SR, Valentin Guillod will miss the thirteenth round of the FIM Motocross World Championsh, the Monster Energy MXGP of Flanders. The Swiss rider got injured after a fall this week while training, and he will be this weekend the first supporter of Emil Weckman.

Valentin Guillod: “We were in Berghem on Wednesday, and after two 20-minute sessions we went for a last session when I fell on my shoulder in a corner. When I got back on the bike I had some pain in my shoulder; I went for an x-ray which detected a fracture line on the scapula. The bones have not moved, so the doctors talked about 2/3 weeks off, which gives hope for a comeback in Sweden mid August. It’s not painful if I don’t move the arm. It’s frustrating because the feeling was good, I was really enjoying myself in the sand and I wanted to do a nice Grand Prix in Lommel to score another top 10.
